Reg Farrell

Reg died on 29th January 2000 after a long illness. He was 76 years old.

He joined the 2nd Parachute Squadron on its formation in 1942 and served with the unit until it was disbanded in 1945. During that time he saw active service in Italy, Greece, France. and. after the war ended. Palestine. He joined the Manchester Police Force and eventually became a dog handler. After having served for twenty eight years he retired in 1981 ano took up further employment with the Local Council until retirement in 1989.

Reg leaves Irene, his wife of fifty four years, son Christopher and daughter in law Christine and two grandchildren, Elliot and Edmond. To all members of his family, we extend our sincere condolences.
