William T McPherson

Bill joined 9 Airborne Sqn RE in 1945 and served with them until 1953.

He served in Palestine with 6th Airborne Division and was a founder member of 9 Independent Airborne Sqn when it reformed in Hameln in BAOR. Always an MT man he became MT Cpl of Park Troop and finally waved goodbye to us from the Canal Zone in 1953. A fairly reticent character he just got about his life in a quiet and diligent manner.
